In Trust We Don’t Believe
Glass much like ice has both a liquid and solid-state. This piece explores the physical reality of our rapidly changing and warming globe. Technology just as much as humans will have a hard time adapting to climate change. We often do not think of the technology we use daily as being supported by an enormous and very fragile infrastructure. As the globe heats up and as the earth enters a more liquid state we will struggle to save the solid foundation of infrastructure that our knowledge stands on. Our sources of data will be under great threat from floods, droughts, high heat, melting ice, erosion, etc... As the weather becomes more unpredictable, and as our tools for prediction become at risk, we will surpass peak knowledge and fall into the liquid unknown.
